Sarah Ali is the owner and Registered Chiropodist at Healthy Feet KW.
Through her years of practice, she has treated a variety of patients in hospitals, community health centres and the private sector. She has been fortunate to gain hands-on skills involving orthotic manufacturing, and successfully treats her patients biomechanical needs with devices she fabricates in the clinic's on-site lab. At Healthy Feet KW, Sarah is able to practice all facets of chiropody, but she most enjoys providing surgical care as well as working with her pediatric patients! When she's not at the clinic, Sarah loves taking care of her two little ones! She also enjoys cooking, gardening, travelling (when she can) and exploring the KW area for great food! |
Shawn Duench, B.Sc., C. Ped (C)Lead Pedorthist |
Shawn Duench is a highly experienced (10+ years) Certified Canadian Pedorthist.
As Lead Pedorthist at Healthy Feet KW, Shawn specializes in the assessment of foot and lower limb mechanics; he designs and manufactures custom made orthotics on-site. Shawn has a BSc. in Kinesiology from Wilfrid Laurier University and a Diploma in Pedorthics from the University of Western Ontario. He has worked in the field for the past 10+ years and brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to the role. Shawn's patient focused care is directed at improving your comfort and mobility through the use of orthotics and proper footwear. He handcrafts each pair of orthotics onsite with your needs in mind. Away from Healthy Feet KW, Shawn enjoys golf, hockey, cooking and spending time with his wife and two kids. |

Jack St.Louis joined the Chiropody field in 2020.
Amidst the chaos of Covid-19 in our communities, Jack was able to gain experience in a variety of settings including both in the hospital as well as private practice. Jack also brings a wealth of knowledge from his 4+ year Kinesiology background. He is confident in his skills within all facets of the profession, but has a keen interest in surgical cases, wound care and biomechanical assessments. Jack looks forward to expanding his knowledge within the Healthy Feet KW team. Behind that mask, there is always a welcoming smile when working with patient's while providing excellent care. Outside of the clinic, Jack enjoys many physical activities such as Men's recreational hockey. He also enjoys spending quality time with friends and family, especially to watch a Leafs game! |

Annie Lin is our local KW Chiropodist!
She excelled in her undergrad at the University of Waterloo in Biomedical Sciences before entering the world of Podiatric Medicine. She enjoys all of the disciplines of Chiropody, and has gained unique experience involving wound care from her residency at Ottawa General Hospital. Annie looks forward to growing at Healthy Feet where she can explore the vast opportunities and figure out what her "specialty" could be! Mostly, Annie is excited to treat the community she grew up in, as a Registered Chiropodist. In her spare time, Annie enjoys learning how to crochet and baking sweet treats! |

Jennifer Sloan is the backbone of this clinic!
She manages our clinic so that it can operate as smooth as possible. Her cheery demeanor and excellent bedside manner make her a perfect fit for patient coordinating and we love that she is the first face you'll meet at Healthy Feet! Jen strongly believes in access to quality health care for members of our community and has years of experience providing support to patients and clients. Her efforts have been most beneficial through the crazy year that was 2020, and she continues to find a way to keep Healthy Feet KW running day to day operations business as usual! Jen has many hobbies and passions - some of which are spending time camping with the family, making homemade soups and jams and creative writing! |

Our History
The idea to establish Healthy Feet KW Chiropody Clinic stemmed from the desire to cater to the rapidly-growing and evolving population of Kitchener / Waterloo. Medical Centre 1 at The Boardwalk has become a beacon for patient care in KW, and having Healthy Feet KW as part of the medical specialist clinics available here made perfect sense!
