Manufacturing: Step-by-Step Process
Picture

Step One: Casting

For custom made orthotics, you need:
  1. A prescription by a medical doctor or a foot specialist (a chiropodist or podiatrist)
  2. A biomechanical assessment and gait analysis
  3. A 3D/ Volumetric cast of your foot  (Example: Plaster of Paris, Foam Impression, 3D Digital Scanning).  Depending on your needs and diagnosis, a casting method will be chosen to create an orthotic suited to your needs.

Step Two: Preparation and MANUFACTURING

At Healthy Feet KW, your orthotics are manufactured on-site.  As the patient, this means:
quicker turn-around for getting your orthotics & true customization - your orthotics will be made by your foot  specialist

Step Three: The Final Product

Your orthotics will be designed to fit you.

Adjustments can be made easily in our lab

Discuss with your Chiropodist what you imagine your needs are and they will accommodate to make your orthotics for your diagnosis and lifestyle.
